Barry Morris Stout, born February 19, 1945, in Louisville, KY, passed away on October 7, 2025 surrounded by family and friends at his home in Taylorsville, KY.
He was a graduate of Ahrens Trade School and an Army National Guard veteran. He was born the son of the late Thomas Jefferson Stout Jr. and Mary Garden Whitaker. Barry was a member of the Jeffersontown Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his twin brother, Larry Norris Stout, his sister Peggy Brooks and wife Elizabeth Diane Stout née Jarboe.
He is survived by his sister Mona Miller. He leaves behind his daughter Pamela Kay Naylor (Robert), son Barry Michael Stout (Hannah), grandchildren Ryan David Mayer, Mara Jade Stout, and Hayden Stout.
Visitation will be on Sunday, October 12th from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Newcomer, East Louisville Chapel located at 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243. A second visitation will be the following day at the funeral home from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by a funeral ceremony at 11:00 am. Private entombment will take place at Resthaven Memorial Park in Louisville.
