Born in Manhattan, NY, to Samuel and Edith (née Cotler) Wechsler, he resided in Queens, NY and North Brunswick, NJ before settling down in East Brunswick, NJ 29 years ago.
Barry was a Certified Public Accountant for Eisner Amper LLP in New York, NY. He was the former past President for Temple Bnia Shalom in East Brunswick, NJ.
Barry was predeceased by his parents.
Surviving are his wife of 42 years, Terri Wechsler (née Bienes) of East Brunswick; his daughters, Marissa Gordon and her husband, Jeff, of River Vale, Ashley Gold and her husband, Matt, of New York, NY; his grandchildren, Rory and Jesse.
A Temple service will be held on Monday, July 7, 2025, at 10:15 am, at Temple B'nia Shalom, 15 Fern Road, East Brunswick, under the direction of MOUNT SINAI MEMORIAL CHAPELS, East Brunswick. Interment will follow at Floral Park Cemetery in South Brunswick. For directions, please see "Events" listed below.

I am so sorry to hear of Barry's passing. I worked with him at Buchbinder Tunick. He was a kind hearted man and a knowledgeable accountant. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.
