Bart enjoyed the rodeo life as a bull rider and was one of the best in Mississippi. He worked as a pipefitter where along with the rodeo he made many cherished lifetime friendships. He had a love for the outdoors of fishing and hunting.
Bart is predeceased by his parents; daughter Danielle Holifield, sister Barbara Jo Dubose, and brothers Skeeter and Danny Holifield.
He is survived by his son Justin (Lindsey) Holifield; daughters Shea Holifield, and Ashley (Brent) Atkinson; grandchildren Colton Holifield, Lyric and Landis Atkinson; his brother Rusty Holifield (Cora); and companion and friend Nancy Martens.
There will be a Celebration of Life service Saturday, August 16, 2025 at Utica Baptist Church, 220 E. Main Street, Utica, MS. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM followed by the service at 12:00 PM.

Bart always had a smile that would light up any room,he had the biggest heart and he gave that to his love Nancy all of us were blessed to call him out friend He will be truly missed rest in peace my sweet friend hold on tight to those ropes as you ride that bull through the pearly gates. Love you Connie Rushing my thoughts and prayers for you Nancy and family

So many years have passed. Many memories have been lost but so many remain. His Momma´s candy dish for one. We were all just kids then. May he forever rest in peace but remain in our hearts.
