Bart Liberti Obituary

He was born in Passaic, NJ to Lucille and Barney Liberti and grew up in Wood-Ridge, NJ. He was an educator and coach for 35 years, first as a history teacher and then a guidance counselor. Bart worked in several Bergen County schools, beginning in his hometown of Wood-Ridge and finishing at Northern Highlands Regional High School in Allendale.
Bart is deeply mourned by his beloved wife Whitney Brewer, his children Brad Liberti (Ted Anton) and Alexa Liberti (Barry Carney), his stepchildren Brooke Burgin and (Matthew Allison) Bogert and his adored grandchildren Joshua, Olivia, Hudson, Sienna, and Sloane. He is also survived by his sister, Rosemary Callahan and his longtime family friend, Seth Burgin. His faithful dog Noah is also left behind. Bart was predeceased by his brother Ron in 2014 and brother-in-law George Callahan in 2020.
