Beatrice Carvajal Obituary
2025. Bea was married to Robert Carvajal, who predeceased her. She is survived
by three children, Susan Stein (Joe), Robert Carvajal (Wendy) and Constantino
"Connie" Carvajal; four grandchildren, Jennifer Storck (Jared), Julie McDougall (Jason),
Joey Stein (Jeni) and Jeffrey Stein (Grace); nine great-grandchildren Jacob, Madison,
Jamie, Ryan, Bradley, Joseph, Jeffrey, Juliette, and John.
Born October 25, 1932, in Jerome, Arizona, she was the daughter of Consuelo Soto
Trafford and Teodoro Serrano. Bea is survived by her siblings, Nina Serrano and Glenn
Trafford. Bea was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother to her
growing family over the years.
Bea's family was extremely important to her, she showed them much love and support
and treasured their moments together by saving family photos to keep their memories
close. Bea delighted in staying connected with her loved ones, often making video
calls to check in on her family.
Beginning her work life at age 15, Bea was a meticulous bookkeeper, a role she held
intermittently until her retirement. Her dedication and precision were hallmarks of her
professional life.
Bea enjoyed crafting homemade Christmas stockings for her entire family. She found
joy in watching tennis, gymnastics, and figure skating, always cheering enthusiastically
for her family and favorite athletes. Her homemade trays of appetizers at family events
are already missed, especially her favored deviled eggs.
Two of Bea's favorite sayings were "God willing" and "one day at a time," which reflected
her approach to life. She lived with quiet strength and a generous spirit.
Bea will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her; she will remain forever in our hearts.
