Beatrice De Los Santos, age 71, of Hobbs, New Mexico, passed away on July 8, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. Born in Pecos, New Mexico, Beatrice lived a life marked by love, generosity, and unwavering strength. Beatrice was a familiar and beloved face at Hobbs Eagles basketball and football games, where she joyfully worked and cheered on her community for many years. Her passion for music and her vibrant spirit touched everyone who knew her. Fierce, giving, and full of life, she was a constant source of strength and support to her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband Albert and children: Kim De Los Santos, Kathy Kleinsteuber, and A.J. De Los Santos; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her immense pride and joy.

Beatrice was preceded in death by her parents, Guadalupe and Manuel Roman; her sisters, Sylvia and Lori; and her brother, Manuel.

Her life was a testament to her deep faith in Christ. We take comfort in His promise:

John 11:25–27 (NIV)

25 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die;

26 and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?”

27 “Yes, Lord,” she replied, “I believe that you are the Messiah, the Son of God, who is to come into the world.”

Beatrice’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

A gathering of friends and family will immediately follow the service at the Knights of Columbus (220 E Main.)
