Beatrice (Bea) Ethel kidney, 87, of Bridgeport, Ohio, peacefully passed away on October 11, 2025, with her beloved husband, Paul ("Peye") Kidney, by her side the love her life for 68 beautiful years.
Bea was born on August 20, 1938, and everyone who knew her knew that her faith was the foundation of her life. The Lord was her strength and guidance, and she lived that faith daily devoted to God, her family land her church.
She was an active member of Riverview Bible Church for most of her adult life, where she taught Sunday School and Children's Church, sharing her love of Scripture and generations of children and adults alike.
Bea worked for over 30 years with Quinn Development, where her kindness, reliability, and work ethic were deeply valued. She was the heart of her home and the quiet strength behind her family never one to complain, always giving, loving, and nurturing.
She had a creative and gentle spirit, finding joy in simple things. She loved to knit and make countless hats and scarves for her loved ones. She enjoyed sitting on her front porch swing, surrounded by flowers she planted herself. Some of her happiest memories were made by travelling with her siblings and taking family trips filled with laughter and love.
Bea was preceded in death by five of her nine siblings. Her three sisters, Linda Knight, June Pastzor, and Sandy Kelner were especially loving and devoted, taking such good care of her with compassion and grace.
She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Paul "Peye" Kidney, and their sons, Mike Kidney, Craig (Marcy) Kidney, and Jeff (Lisa) Kidney. She was a proud grandmother to Ashly (Ryan), Scott (Kristie), Morgan, Mary Jane, Noah, and Tyler, and a joyful great-grandmother to Pria, Grayson and Blayke.
Bea and Peye shared a life full of adventure traveling together to every state except Hawaii and visiting seven provinces in Canda on the back of their Harley-Davidson. Quite a journey from Bible School to the open road, but Bea embraced it all with grace and joy.
She lived a beautiful, full life, one marked by love, faith, and quiet strength. Those blessed to know Bea will carry her memory in their hearts always.
A special thank-you to The Enclave in Barnesville, Ohio. The family could not have asked for a more loving and caring facility.
Family and friends will be received Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 12 till time of service at 3 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Bridgeport, Ohio 43912. A reception will immediately follow at The Forester's Club, 55935 West Second St., Bridgeport, Ohio 43912.
