Beatrice M. Lowe

Beatrice Mills Lowe-affectionately known as "Bea," "Moot," "Aunt Moot," "Grandma," "Grams," and "Big Ma"-passed away peacefully surrounded by family on October 4, 2025, at the beautiful age of 86.
Born on August 29, 1939, in Rutledge, Georgia, to Jessie and Mary Grant Mills, Bea was the youngest girl of eight children. She accepted Christ early in life and joined Wallace Grove Baptist Church, where her lifelong walk of faith began.
On March 6, 1955, Bea married the love of her life, Roger Lowe. Their union of 60 years was blessed with one daughter, Barbara ("Ann"), and generations of love that followed. Bea poured her heart into her familyraising, protecting, and cheering for every child, grandchild, and greatgrandchild who came through her door ( and usually left with a full belly and a good laugh).
A woman of both strength and style, Bea believed in hard work and doing things right. She retired from The Dobbs Houses at Hartsfield Atlanta Airport, where she served as Head Stewardess and a proud member of Teamsters Local Union 528. Bea later worked at Kroger as a security officer-keeping watch with that same fierce love she gave her family.
