Theodore Dee Lowe

Theodore Dee Lowe, 63, known to friends and family as Ted, passed away on October 7, 2025, at the age of 63. Born on March 23, 1962, in San Diego, California, the son of Thomas and Patty (Vollmer) Lowe. He married Christie Lavely on August 27, 2005. 

Ted was a hard-working pool installer who kicked off his career at Clydes Pools before channeling his passion and expertise into his own business, C and T Pools. His dedication and skill left a lasting mark on the lives of many pool owners in the area. In his younger years, Ted attended St. John United Church of Christ, where he developed strong friendships and made meaningful contributions. Ted was also an enthusiastic sports fan with a special love for the New York Jets-his loyalty unwavering through thick and thin. He enjoyed the thrills of racing, the excitement of college basketball, and was a faithful supporter of IU basketball. It's safe to say he never missed a game! 

Ted is survived by his loving wife, Christie Lowe of Vincennes and his sister, Sarah Lowe of Vincennes. Ted is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Ted is preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Patty Lowe, his stepson, Jason Lavely and his brother, Tim Lowe.

Friends may visit with Ted's family from 11:00 am until the hour of service time of 1:00 pm on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home, 524 Broadway, Vincennes, IN 47591. Ted will be laid to rest in Memorial Park Cemetery and Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home is privileged and honored to be entrusted with the care of Ted and his family.
