Becky Lou Carl
Age 62, of Alma passed away Monday, November 17, 2025, at her home. She was born on April 5, 1963, in St. Johns, Michigan. She was a 1981 graduate of St. Johns High School and married Randall "Randy" Carl on August 17, 1996. She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.
Becky worked for the Michigan Department of Corrections for over 30 years, until her retirement in 2022 as Deputy Warden from the St. Louis Prison. Becky's greatest joy was being a mother and especially loved following her son's basketball career.
She is survived by her son Dylan and his wife Julia Carl; her mother Nancy Jakovac; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Randy in 2007; her father David Jakovac; and a sister Melissa Arthur.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 21, 2025, at 11 am at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 7400 N. Begole Rd. Alma, MI 48801. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Alma. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2025, from 4 to 8 pm at Lux-Moody-Wolfel Funeral Home, 531 N. State St., Alma and on Friday from 10 am until the time of services at the church.
