Richfield, Utah -It is with great sadness that the family of Becky Jen Herbert Knorr announces her unexpected passing of natural causes on August 27, 2025.
Our “Firecracker,” Becky, was born on July 4, 1976 in Ogden, Utah. She later moved with her family to Kansas and Germany. Upon returning from Germany, her family re-settled in Salina, then Richfield, Utah, where she stayed the rest of her life.
Becky graduated from high school and pursued a career in cosmetology. As a cosmetologist, she was able to meet many people and help them look their best. She would always create dramatically “high” hairdos, in many colors, for her mom. Those hairdos were a legend. She later gained employment at Albertsons, then Walmart and happily worked there for many years.
Becky made friends wherever she went. People loved Becky. They loved being with her and around her. She made them smile and feel happy. Her Walmart family loved Becky and will sincerely miss her.
Becky married the love of her life, George Knorr on August 8, 2008. George and Becky were so happy together. They spent many happy days in their darling little home with their fur babies, Cocoa and Cowboy. Becky’s much loved fur baby, Oreo, preceded her in death. Becky loved dolphins and the color purple. She was famous for her great hugs.
Becky is survived by her loving husband, George who will miss her so much. She is survived by her siblings, Marcy (Ted) Korgenski, Terry (Beverly) Major, Sonya Weiss, Ernest (Sharon) Herbert, Scott (Yvonne) Schofield, Keri Walker. She leaves behind many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Douglas (Herbie) and Sandra Herbert.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made by Venmo to help cover expenses. Venmo addresses: @Keri-Walker-7 or @MarcyKorgenski.
Becky, we love you! Bock Bock! Everyone will miss your famous hugs. We are watching for dolphins in the clouds.
