Jessica Faye Knorr passed away unexpectedly Aug. 12, 2025. Jessica had the most beautiful, compassionate heart in the world, and she shared it tenderly with every person or animal she met.
Jessica was born in American Fork, Utah on March 22, 1993. Her parents immediately knew that she was the best thing that had happened to them. She was a vivacious and joyful child bringing pure joy to everyone around her. She loved having adventures, singing, and dancing to Disney songs and 70's music with her daddy. Disneyland was their favorite daddy-daughter trip. When her brother, Mason came into the family, she became his best friend and fiercest protector. They continued to be each other's best friends throughout their lives and in recent years Mason became her support and protector.
Jessica graduated from Alta High School in 2011 and began working two jobs: one at McDonalds and one at South Towne Mall. In the fall of 2012, Jessica met her sweetheart Adam Knorr while offering him a sample of green tea. Within just a few weeks, they promised each other their hearts. They were married on December 23, 2013, in Midvale, at the Woods on 9th.
Jessica supported Adam through law school and they built a wonderful life together. They loved each other fiercely and resolved to tackle all life's challenges as a single unit. There was rarely a time when one was without the other, and that is the way they wanted it. As things changed and difficulties arose, they adapted and grew together, getting even closer as the years went on.
She loved all things Disney, especially going to Disneyland and Disney World with Adam, her daddy, Mason, Jim, Denise and her Aunt Suzanne every chance she could. Her other passions were her cat, Karma, traveling, Taylor Swift and her family.
Jessica's love for those in her circle was intense. If you were lucky enough to be in that circle, her love for you was palpable. Anyone in her presence felt like a better person and also felt the desire to be a better person – to try and care more for others. You just knew how good she was by being near her.
She is survived by her loving husband, Adam Knorr, her daddy, David (Renee) Strate, brother, Mason Strate, grandmother, JoAnn Strate and Adam's parents Denise and Jim Knorr. She leaves an extended family and many friends will miss her deeply. She is preceded in death by her grandfathers Abe Strate and Chad Hoopes who were two of her biggest cheerleaders.
Private services will be held. She will be interred at Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery, 1950 E Dimple Dell Road in
Sandy, Utah.
