Brandon Michael Waters, born November 2, 1986, passed away unexpectedly on July 30, 2025. He was the youngest of five children, and the only son, born to Joe and Kay Waters. He grew up in Sandy, Utah, and later lived in Salt Lake City, Utah. Brandon attended Alta High School, and Salt Lake Community College. He worked in customer service for several years. Brandon enjoyed photography and he had a real eye (ha!) for taking beautiful pictures in nature. He developed a love for cooking at an early age and had a talent for baking. He began selling his cakes and macarons in 2020. He happily introduced his nephew to the world of Pokémon. He liked watching movies, doing jigsaw puzzles, gaming, learning about history, and building Lego sets. He was always quick to recommend a new show he had found to watch, or to discuss his next cooking project (which included making his own pasta). And he was always willing to share pictures of his cats. Brandon was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his two beloved cats, six nieces and nephews, four sisters (and brothers-in-law), and many good friends. We are grateful for the friends who were with him through the good times and the bad. While Brandon's time with us here was short, we have many memories of the times we shared with him. Please join with friends and family on Friday, August 15th from 5:30-7pm at the Riverton Utah Stake Pavillion (13400 S 1855 W Riverton, Utah) for an opportunity to share your memories of Brandon.
