Belem Guereca, 93, of Aurora, passed away at her home Friday January 16, 2026; surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Mexico August 22, 1932; daughter of Guadalupe Ochoa Vega and Virginia Castro. Belem was a homemaker; she a very active woman and had an excellent memory for things. If you could not remember something, Belem was the lady to go too. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, gardening but most of all she enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Belem was one to push through the rough no matter how hard: strong, valiant, and willful. She is survived by her husband of 71 years Jesus, Her 9 children; Maricela Portillo (Martiniano Portillo), Luz Maria Morales (Rafael Morales), Rosa Silvia Morales (Manuel Morales), Victor Hugo Guereca (Gabriela Gamiz), Maria Teresa Guereca Ochoa (Angel Ochoa) Jesus Guereca Jr., Alma Rocio Guereca, Laura Patricia Guereca, and Maria Elena Lopez (Roberto C. Lopez). 24 grandchildren; Richard, Edgar, Sergio, Oscar, Miguel Angel, Nora Patricia, Cesar, Marco Adan, Luis Alberto, Perla Guadalupe, Claudia Illiana, Manuel, Victor Jesus, Nancy, Daniel, Angel, Jonathan, Jocelyn, Juan Carlos, William, Yahaira Rubi, Chris, Charlie and Jimena. 38 great grandchildren; Omar, Roman, Tara, Lily, Alex, Andrea, Juliana, Camila, Anthony, Desire, April, Miguelito, Jacob, Destiny, Nathan, Cesar, Yandel, Giovanni, Jaiden, Charlotte, Leslie, Sophia, Jackelinne, Vanessa, Alexei, Victor Jesus, Dana Victoria, Mia Samantha, Ameli, Miguelito, Joel, Cataleya Janessa, Julianna Emma, Christian Jacob, Abbigail, Giancarlo and Delilah Eve and 1 great great grandchild Athena. Belem is preceded in death by her parents, are her siblings; Enrique, Juanita, Maria Ignacia, Rita, Alma Delfina, Jose and a grandchild Juan Pablo. Family will be greeting guests Thursday January 22, 2026 from 3pm to 7pm at Dieterle Memorial Home 1120 S. Broadway in Montgomery.
