In Loving Memory of Belinda Corene Brown
1964 - 2025
With hearts full of love and sorrow, we honor the life and legacy of Belinda Corene Brown, a devoted mother, cherished daughter, beloved sister, proud grandmother, and a friend to all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Born on February 5, 1964, in Dallas, Texas, to William Carl Frank and Mildred Lillian Cloud-Frank. Belinda was a woman of remarkable kindness, deep faith, and an unwavering love for her family and the world around her. She departed this life on March 26, 2025, in Fort Worth, Texas, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, generosity, and a voice that could touch the heavens.
A true Texan in every sense of the word, Belinda was proud of her roots. Though she spent a brief time living in Michigan, her heart never strayed from the Lone Star State. Texas was her home, her pride, and the place she always belonged.
She grew up in a loving and close-knit family alongside her sister, Sheila Frank, and her brother, Calvin Frank. Their home was filled with laughter, love, and faith. They were raised in the Church of God, where she was baptized in her youth, a moment that became the foundation of her lifelong faith.
From a young age, it was clear that Belinda had a gift. She had an extraordinary voice, one that could captivate a room and bring people to tears with its beauty. She loved to sing and was so incredibly talented that she was selected for the Texas State High School Choir-an incredible honor that only the most gifted vocalists achieved. Her family often remarked that she sang as beautifully as Bette Midler, a comparison that perfectly captured her talent. Whether she was singing in church, at school, or just around the house, her voice was a blessing to all who heard it.
Belinda graduated from Keller High School and pursued her passion for learning and helping others. She first attended cosmetology school, where she honed her skills in beauty and hair care. She later went on to mortuary school, demonstrating her compassionate nature and deep respect for honoring life's final journey. Never one to stop learning, she ultimately earned a degree in criminal justice from Kaplan University, proving her dedication to growth and excellence in everything she did.
Above all else, Belinda was the best mother her children could have ever asked for. She was loving, caring, forgiving, compassionate, and understanding. She always put her family first, making sure her children knew they were deeply loved. Her presence was a source of comfort and unwavering support, and she always had a listening ear and a warm embrace ready.
Her love for her family only grew when she became a grandmother. She absolutely adored her seven grandchildren-Kenzie, Keira, Keylee, Easton, Bryce, William, and Waylon and Liam-and cherished every moment she spent with them. And while her love for her family was boundless, there was one small companion who held a special place in her heart-her little dog, Maggie. Maggie was her shadow, her loyal friend, and the source of endless joy.
Belinda's kindness extended beyond her own family. She had a special place in her heart for children, which led her to a fulfilling career in the education system. She held multiple roles over the years, including as a bus driver, where she formed bonds with countless students. At the time of her passing, she was working as an instructional aide at Weatherford ISD, where she continued to touch the lives of young people every day.
A true lover of life, Belinda had a warm and chatty personality that made her unforgettable. She never met a stranger-she could strike up a conversation with anyone and always found something to love about every person she encountered. Her laughter, her warmth, and her ability to make people feel seen and valued were some of her most treasured qualities.
She had a deep love for animals of all kinds and an especially strong passion for her pets. Whether it was dogs, cats, or any other creature, she had a tender heart for them all.
She also had a love for cooking and was especially known for making the best dessert ever-her famous cherries in the snow. It was a beloved treat in her family, and her brother Calvin always looked forward to indulging in it.
Belinda is survived by her mother, Mildred Frank, who lovingly went by the nickname Dada; her daughter, Brittney Cearley, and her husband, Jared; her son, Jeremy Brown, and his wife, Cassie Cunningham; her seven beloved grandchildren, Kenzie, Keira, Keylee, Easton, Bryce, William, and Waylon; and one great-grandchild, Liam. She also leaves behind her sister, Sheila Frank, and her brother, Calvin Frank, and his wife, Amy, as well as many extended family members and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, William Carl Frank.
Services to honor and celebrate Belinda's life will be held on Friday, April 4. Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM, followed by a chapel service at Azle Chapel on the grounds of Azleland Cemetery at 2:00 PM. A committal service will take place immediately after at Azleland Cemetery.
Belinda's life was one of love, laughter, and selfless devotion to others. She was a woman who brought joy to those around her, lifted spirits with her voice, and left an indelible mark on every heart she touched. While she will be deeply missed, her spirit will live on in the memories, the music, and the love she shared with the world.
