Belinda Lou Burrous Price, 65, of Topeka, KS, passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at the House at Midland Care. After battling heart issues and diabetes.
She was born October 26, 1959, in Topeka, KS the daughter or Roy C. Burrous and Naomi Lincoln Ribordy Burrous.
Belinda attended Seaman schools and lived in the North Topeka area all her life. She worked as a housekeeper and painter at various places in Topeka. In the summer months she enjoyed selling her home-grown vegetables.
Belinda's passion was spending time outside. She enjoyed doing her diamond art pictures, painting statues, pitching horseshoes, canoeing, gardening/canning, camping, boating, bowling, watching KU Basketball and the KC Chiefs, but most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren. Belinda will be remembered for her orneriness, sense of humor and kind personality.
She leaves behind her very special partner of 14 years, Steve Haug, which they shared a lot of fun times and memories. Other survivors include her two daughters, Kristen Massey and Kelsey Silver, two grandchildren, Loren Gunter and Sophie Silver. Four brothers, Wayne (Lesa) Ribordy, Bob Ribordy (Viola), Larry (Rose) Ribordy, Roy Burrous (Beckie), sister-in-law, Patricia Ribordy, as well as many nieces, nephews, family and friends also survive.
Belinda is preceded in death by her parents, Roy C. Burrous and Naomi Ribordy Burrous, brothers, Loren Ribordy and Jerry Ribordy, granddaughter, Kylynn Gunter, and her beloved doggie Lou Lou.
A very special "Thank You" to Midland Care Hospice House for their amazing care and are angels in our eyes. We are forever grateful.
Belinda has chosen to be cremated. A graveside service will be held at a later date.
