November 25, 2025, Jesus welcomed Belva Kell Greenwood home.
Since March 2015 her loving husband Johnny Greenwood has been waiting for her to join him in heaven.
Also waiting, her parents Milford & Annie Kell, brother Elmer Kell, sisters Barbara Hummel & Betty Madison.
She is survived by James & Kathy Greenwood, Jami Waldroop, Jared & Jennifer Greenwood, McCall Sanders, McKayla Sanders & Brayden Greenwood. Mrs. Greenwood is also survived by her sister Ruby Southard (Tim), sister in-law Joyce Kell, & several nieces & nephews.
Belva was a faithful & devoted member of The Franklin Church of God. She retired from Belden Electric Cord, after 32 years.
Our family is so thankful today, Nannie can remember all her special recipes and is able to prepare a Thanksgiving feast for all to enjoy.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Monday, December 1, 2025, at 4:00 PM in the Grant Chapel at Bryant-Grant Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Reeves officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:30-4:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home. A private family burial will follow at Mount Zion Cemetery. Pallbearers will be James, Jared & Brayden Greenwood, Mike Kell, Brian Southard, Jud Southard & Stephen Hummel.
In lieu of flowers please make donations to: Mount Zion Cemetery c/o Christine Slagle 726 Slagle Farm Rd. Franklin NC 28734
