On July 5,1966, in Monrovia, Liberia, the world was graced with the arrival of Benetta Musa Fully Kaba, the first of 7 children born to Hawa Fagay and the late George Fully Sr. Benetta was a kind, gentle woman who loved her family and friends.
She embarked on her love for fashion, which led her to graduate from Methodist Church Sewing School in Sinkor, Monrovia.
Benetta pursued her passion for sewing and became a skilled seamstress, creating beautiful garments that brought joy to those who wore them.
In 2000, Benetta relocated to Alexandria, VA, with her family, where she built a new life and dedicated herself to caring for others. As a care manager at Sunrise Senior Living for over 20 years, she touched the lives of countless seniors and their families, providing sustenance and hope to those in need. Her selflessness and dedication to serving others inspired a community and left a lasting legacy.
Benetta's love for life was contagious, and she was often the life of the party, gracing the dance floor with her two-step dance moves and her "Ayeeee Mann" chanting.
She loved hosting gatherings and celebrations that brought people together, making everyone feel welcome and loved.
She enjoyed traveling with family and friends.
Benetta is survived by her loving family and friends, who cherish the memories of her laughter, her love, and her unwavering support. May she rest in peace, and may her memory continue to inspire us to live with kindness, compassion, and joy.
