Benita A. Haynes Of Forest City, PA Benita A. Haynes, 77, of Forest City, PA, passed away on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at Barnes Kasson SNF in Susquehanna, PA. She was predeceased by parents Wallace E. & Evelyn Burns; husband Arthur J. Haynes; brother Wallace E. Burns Jr. Benita is survived by her children Desmond & Mary Corey Jr., Virginia & Tobin Crawford; grandchildren Jordan & Jasimine Clapper and Alyssa Corey, Shawney & Anthony Sirianni, Victoria Corey, Joseph & Cirsten Matoushek, Timothy & Jamie Haynes, and Dylan & Cassandra Haynes; and seven great grandchildren. Benita was born on September 1, 1947, and graduated from Mountain View High School. She was an avid Motorsports fan and a Nascar enthusiast. She also enjoyed knitting and made several items for her family. She spent many years working at the Pleasant Mount Café. Most important to her was spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. Benita will be dearly missed by her family and friends. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Barnes Kasson SNF for their excellent care. A Graveside Service will be held in East Ararat Cemetery at a later date.
