Benjamin Shane "Ben" Barton

It is with great sadness that the family of Benjamin Shane Barton announce his passing on February 16, 2024, at the age of 54 years old.
Ben was born on June 5, 1969 to Don and Betty Barton, in Waco, Texas. He is survived by his wife Melinda Barton; daughter Bailey Barton; son Blayne (wife Allison) Barton; stepdaughter Amber (husband Matt) Martin; stepson Tyler (wife Ashley) Snapp; parents Don and Betty Barton; sister Melissa (husband Shawn) Grant, and nephews Nate Grant, Devon (wife Shanna) Grant. He also leaves behind 7 grandchildren and 3 great nieces.
Ben is preceded in death by his grandparents Ben and Ruby Burris and Woodrow and Betty Barton.
Ben was a dedicated employee of Locke Supply for over 21 years, where he loved helping his customers, always greeting them with a smile or joke. Ben was an avid fisherman and loved fishing on his Uncle Stanleys pond. He also loved gardening with his family and growing the ingredients to make his famous salsa, the hotter the better.
Ben will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who were blessed to know him.
Celebration of life services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, February 23, 2024, at the Yanda and Son Funeral Home Chapel, Yukon, Oklahoma.
