Mr. Benjamin Cooper was born on Friday, March 11, 1955, to his parents, the Reverend Walter and Inez Cooper. He joined the Green Grove Baptist Church at an early age.
Mr. Cooper passed away on Thursday, March 9, 2023. He was preceded in death by his father, Rev. Walter T. Cooper, Sr., one sister, Rawlene Cooper, a brother, Paul D. Cooper, and by a brother-in-law, Ossie B. Wells.
He leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Inez Cooper, two brothers, Walter Cooper, Jr., and his "main man", Herman Cooper, all of Dublin, and one sister, Katie Cooper Wells of East Dublin, two nieces, Dr. Rachel (Kelvin) Bray of Milledgeville, RaShonda Cooper of Atlanta, two nephews, Keith Cooper of Columbus, and Henry Spikes of Fernandina Beach, Florida, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Special thanks to the Fairview Park third floor critical care unit and to the Agape Hospice for the care and comfort of Mr. Cooper.
