Horan & McConaty Funeral Service & Cremation - Southeast Denver/AuroraBenjamin Eutimio Espinoza, age 86, died in his home on August 19, 2025. He was a graduate of Primero High School in Trinidad Colorado. He spent 4 years in the Air Force as a Jet Mechanic and was fortunate enough to break the sound barrier in a Jet with his Pilot. Ben was Honorably discharged in 1960 from the Air Force and a short time later met the love of his life Barbara Jane Logan. They were married on August 3rd, 1962. Ben received his Welding degree from Emily Griffeth and worked for many years in welding and Hydraulic Repair including owning is own company in Charlotte NC, Ben’s Hydraulic Service. Ben Espinoza finished up his many years of hard work with 17 years at Lockheed Martin when he retired.
Ben loved Bowling, Fishing and Golfing. What he enjoyed most of all was his family. He has left his print on the entire family and will be deeply missed. We Love you Poppy.
Ben leaves behind his wife Barbara Espinoza, 8 Grandchildren, Jordan (Christian) Espinoza, Clarissa Alirez, Audrina Robles Rodriguez (Ricky), Christina Whited, Denyse Whited, Randy Whited, Benjamin Espinoza, Jacob Fantin. 8 Great Grandchildren, Adrian (AJ) Whited, Angel Robles-Rodriguez, Giovanni Alirez, Gabriella Robles-Rodriguez, Aria Espinoza, Aiden Robles-Rodriguez, Marcelo Alirez, Gavin Espinoza, Daughter in law Laura Espinoza, Son in law Curtis Whited, Children Drina Whited and Henry Espinoza.
Funeral services will take place at Fort Logan Cemetery on Friday September 5th at 12:30pm followed by a celebration of life picnic at Bear Creek Park, 3550 S. Raleigh St., Denver Co. 80236. Celebration of life will be from 1-4pm.
