Benjamin S. Johns passed away peacefully on September 14, 2025, at the age of 96.

Benjamin will be deeply missed by his loving wife Kathleen of 33 years, his children, Benjamin (Diane), Gregory, Barbara, and daughter-in-law Patricia. Ben was Pop Pop to 8 grandchildren Christina (Scott), Natalie (Mike), Stephanie (Anthony), Jeffrey (Jessica), Brittany (Brett), Emilie, Andrew (Allie), and Daniel and GPop to 7 great-grandchildren, Rylee, Benjamin, Anthony, Charlie, Malina, Paxton and Josephine, all who will miss him dearly.

Ben is also survived by brother-in-law James (Carol), sister-in-law Maryanne, and nephew Frank (Lori).

He is predeceased by his daughter Janet (Eric), and grandson Jason.

Ben was born in St. Clair, PA and graduated from St. Clair High School. He enlisted in the Army in 1946 and was discharged as a Sergeant in 1949.

Ben worked at SPS Technologies in Jenkintown, PA for 49 years. He started in the machine shop and worked his way up to Computer Programmer and retired as a Systems Administrator.

Ben's hobbies included trains and ham radios. He was actively involved with the Boy Scouts of America, Roslyn Town Watch, St. Johns Leisure Club and Penn Wireless Association.

Family and friends are invited to Benjamin's Life Celebration on Saturday, September 20, 2025 from 9:00am until his funeral service at 11:00am, at the Craft-Givnish Funeral Home 1801 Old York Road, Abington, PA, 19001. Interment will be held privately by his family at Washington Crossing National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Red Cross.
