Benjamin Keith McCorkle

Benjamin Keith McCorkle, 54, of Charlotte, passed away Thursday, August 7, 2025, the result of a fatal heart attack, Keith was a native of Charlotte, NC. He was a member of Sunset Road Baptist Church. He enjoyed playing disc golf, and anything that involved both the making of computers, and the operating of professional level software. Keith is survived by his parents Ben "Corky" and Judy McCorkle, his brother Kevin McCorkle of Belmont NC, nephew Hunter McCorkle (Brianna) of Gastonia NC, niece Kennedy McCorkle of Belmont, NC, and great nephew Brody McCorkle of Gastonia, NC. An informal gathering of family and friends to celebrate and remember Keith, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 16 at Sunset Road Baptist Church, 2317 Sunset Road in the Helderman Hall fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sunset Road Baptist Church (Alaska Mission Trip) 2317 Sunset Road, NC 28216.
