Benjamin F. Moles, Sr. passed away August 27, 2025. He was proceeded in death by his wife Phyllis Moles, daughter Donna Moles, grandson Brandon Moles, and special family friend Johnny Taylor. Those who knew Ben can imagine the joy on his face as he enters the streets of gold and, for the first time, Donna walking on them. Ben is survived by daughters Robbin Simmons and Melissa Summers (Nathanael), son Ben Jr., grandsons Dustin Moles (Tasha), Christopher Summers, Aaron Simmons and granddaughter Lexie Stange (Christian). He's blessed with many great grandchildren. Ben truly loved his family and is known and respected for the special care he provided to Phyllis and Donna. He worked hard to provide for his family's needs and wants.
Ben, along with Phyllis, attended First Apostolic Church, where he enjoyed the services as well as watching his son and daughters participate in the schools activities during their high school years.
Ben worked all his life but concluded his employment by retiring form Knox County Highway Department. Away from work, he enjoyed Tennessee football, Atlanta Braves baseball, NASCAR races and professional wrestling.
The family will receive family and friends at First Apostolic Church on Saturday, August 30, 2025 from 11:00am to 12:00pm. A celebration of life will follow with Bishop Billy McCool officiating. Everyone is welcome to accompany the family afterwards to Bookwalter Cemetery where his earthly body will be laid to rest next to his beloved wife Phyllis.
