Benjamin Harlen Ussery

October 27, 1933 - August 25, 2025

Funeral services celebrating the life of Mr. Benjamin Ussery will be held on Thursday, August 28, 2025 at 11:00AM in the chapel of Fall Creek Funeral Home, 1800 Military Hwy., Pineville, with the Rev. Thomas Martin officiating. Interment will follow in Craig Cemetery, Kolin, La.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, from 5-8 PM and will resume again on Thursday at 10 AM until time of services all at Fall Creek Funeral Home.

Mr. Ussery, age 91 of Pineville entered eternal rest on Monday, August 25, 2025 in his residence, surrounded by the large presence of his loving family.

Benjamin was a native of Pineville and a graduate of Bolton High School where he was very active in sports. He was a retired United States Air Force veteran after 22 years of service. He then went on to retire from Dresser Industries in Tioga. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Pineville. His passions in life were cutting firewood, playing golf, going on church trips, spending time with his family, helping people and was very proud to have gone zip-lining at the age of 86 years young.

Mr. Ussery is preceded in death by his daughter, Susan Ussery, two sons, Michael and Jeffrey Ussery, and his parents, Benjamin and Florence Ussery.

He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Phyllis Radar Ussery of Pineville, his daughter, Diana Haley of Ball and his son, Brian Ussery (Kathy) of Pineville. Five grandchildren, Rebecca Pias of Pineville, Jeremy Ussery of Columbus, Ms., Sarah Hebert of Pineville, Joseph Ussery of Pineville and Lauren Ussery of Pineville. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

Pallbearers honored to serve will be ; Jeremy Ussery, Joseph Ussery, Benjamin Ussery, Adrian Presley, McKinsey Edwards and Liam Edwards.

Arrangements have been placed in the care of Fall Creek Funeral Home, Pineville. Robbie Dauzat, Director.
