Malcolm "Mac" D. Watkins

October 14, 1941 - August 15, 2025

Memorial services celebrating the life of Mr. Malcolm "Mac" D. Watkins will be held on Friday, August 22, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Wilda Baptist Church, Wilda Community, with the Rev. Joey Rudisill officiating. A gathering of friends and family for visitation will begin at 9:00 AM until time of services.

Malcolm D. Watkins was born on October 14, 1941 in Boyce, La., to Frank James Watkins and Dora McCullough Watkins, and passed away peacefully on Friday, August 15, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

"Mac" served his country proudly in the United States Army and later retired from The Laitram Corporation in New Orleans. He returned to the Boyce area in 1992, where he has since resided. Malcolm was known for his love of gardening and his fireworks stand.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Norma Sue Watkins, Five brothers, Miller, Jack, Lazine, J.W., Frank, and his three sisters, Lavada, Mildred and Annie Mae.

Those left to cherish his memory include his sister, Carmen Peterson, step-sons, Michael R. Leger, Mark S. Leger, Kevin R. Leger, along with numerous nieces, nephews and grandchildren.

In lieu of florals, the family requests donations be made to Wilda Baptist Church, in memory of Malcolm.

Arrangements have been placed in the care of Fall Creek Funeral Home, Pineville, Robbie Dauzat, Director.
