Bennett Andrew Wallace, 62, of Largo, FL, passed away September 29, 2025. He was born February 19, 1963, in Fort Riley Kansas to Annetta (née Brown) and Richard B Wallace Jr. Bennett's father was a Military Police officer for the United States Army. As a child, Bennett and his family moved through much of the East Coast including Georgia, Virginia, and Pennsylvania as well as overseas to Germany and Korea before his father retired to Pittsburgh Pa. After graduating from Shaler Area High School, Bennett moved to Largo Florida, and then later to Seattle, WA. It was there that Bennett accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and savior. He joined a faith-based church and there he met his wife, Gail Marie Hamel. They married in 1987 and began to raise a family. With his church, he made several trips to central Mexico as an ambassador of Jesus to the local native Americans. Bennett and his family moved to several states including Florida and Virginia before finally settling in Fort Worth, Texas.
Bennett is survived by his mother; his four sons: Jacob Everett and Amanda Marie (Cowell) Wallace of Bend, OR, Benjamin Matthew and Courtney B (Cheatham) Wallace of Duncanville, TX, Caleb Josiah Wallace of Bend, OR, & Ezra Jeremiah Wallace of Bend, OR; three grandchildren, all of Duncanville, TX: Aiden Wallace; Emory Kate Wallace, and Ellie Ray Wallace; his siblings: Richard Barry (Donna) Wallace III of Dunedin, FL; Anne Christine Wallace of Pittsburgh, PA; Bruce Edmund Wallace of Palm Harbor, FL; Claire Cathleen (Sean) Crook of Leesburg, VA; Mary Grace Wallace of Wilmington, NC; and 23 nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father; his brother: Mark Foster Wallace; and his wife: Gail Marie Hamel. A Funeral Mass and Graveside Placement will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes, Dunedin, FL. On October 25, 2025.
