Benny Joe Gardner

Benny Joe Gardner, 86, of Silsbee, died Sunday, July 14, 2024. He was born on February 16, 1938, in Lillie, Louisiana, to Hazel Cates Gardner and Elton Gardner.
Benny was the founder, owner, and operator of Texas Fireworks Company.
Survivors include his children, Gary Gardner and his wife, Robyn, of Silsbee; and Joe Gardner of Silsbee; step-daughter, Debra Jackson of Arkansas; grandchildren, Angel Burns and her husband, Cameron, of Silsbee; Cory Gardner of Fred; Justin Gardner of Silsbee; Amy Bryan and her husband, Eric, of Lumberton; Regan Gardner of Beaumont; Daniel Gardner of Lumberton; Corry Raley and her husband, Daniel, of Vidor; Patricia Callaway of Fred; Darren Garsee and his wife, Shandalon, of Fred; and William Callaway of Spurger; fourteen great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Hazel and Elton Gardner; wife, Hazel Eason Gardner; daughter, Diana Gardner; and grandson, Raymond Joe Callaway.
A gathering of Mr. Gardner's family and friends will be 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, July 18, 2024, at Broussard's, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. His funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 19, 2024, at Broussard's, with his interment to follow at Hardin Memorial Park, Silsbee.
