Bernadette M. (McDonald) Pietsch, 86, of Walkerton passed away on Friday February 28, 2025, at Millers Merry Manor in Walkerton.
Bernadette was born in LaPorte on January 8, 1939, to the late Arthur and Mary (Bauch) McDonald.
Bernadette married Eugene Pietsch on August 11, 1984, sharing 32 years of marriage before his passing in 2017.
Bernadette was a homemaker but worked many other positions throughout her career. She was also a caring mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Bernadette is survived by her children; Gina (John) Bowman, Kent (Stephanie) Laughman, and Eric Laughman. Also surviving are 9 grandchildren; Lauren(Luis), Cory(Ciarra), Nicole, Justina, Lindsey, Joshua, Jenna, Kaitlin, Austin, 18 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild, along with her sister, Saundra (Theodore) Bystry and her brother, Patrick (Sharon) McDonald.
Bernadette was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her siblings; Jacquelyn Daisy, Mary Hooper, Sharon Hudson, William McDonald, and Dennis McDonald.
Private services have already been held.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Bernadette's name may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
