Bernadine Chiarella Obituary
She is survived by her children, Sam A. Chiarella and Frank Chiarella (Phyllis); her grandchildren, Lauren Chiarella Johnson (Zack) and Allison Chiarella Savela (Matthew); and her great grandchildren, Reagan Martin, Caleb Johnson, Abby Jo Johnson, Riley Savela, Olivia Savela, and Hallie Savela.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Rosa Manzella; her sisters, Josephine Manzella Scalisi, Marie Manzella Hammond, and Jeanette Manzella Ruffino; her brothers, Tony Manzella, Frank Manzella, and Louis Manzella; two loving husbands, Anthony Chiarella and Jack Chiarella; and her great grandson, Jack Savela.
A Funeral Mass will be held on July 2, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Aloysius Catholic Church located at 751 Academy Drive, Bessemer, Alabama. Visitation will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service. A graveside service will follow at Highland Memorial Gardens, 3115 18th Avenue, Bessemer, Alabama.

So sorry to hear about Bernadine's passing. She was a greatly loved member of our poker group and we enjoyed many laughs and trips together through the years, including casinos, Gulf Shores, Gatlinburg and a cruise to the Caribbean, all with her loving spouse Jack! She will be greatly missed by all of us! Love to her family and to Sammy especially!
