Bernadette “Bunny” Marie Cassidy, 89, of Indianapolis, passed away on Friday, October 6, 2023. She was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on December 9, 1933.
Bunny was married on June 23, 1956, at St. Adalbert’s Catholic Church in Philadelphia to Daniel Cassidy.
Bunny was a member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church for over 50 years. She enjoyed playing German rummy with her friends, chatting with friends at church and watching crime dramas on TV.
Bunny is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 62 years Daniel Cassidy, parents John and Sophie Moszkowicz, son James “Jim” Cassidy, brothers Raymond Moszkowicz, John “Jack” Moszkowicz, Theodore Moszkowicz, Edward Moszkowicz.
Bunny leaves her legacy to her children: Deborah (Tom) Marshall Burns, Michael Cassidy, Jacqueline (Patrick) Caviston, grandchildren Daniel Marshall, Allison White, great grandchildren Miles Marshall, Nicholas Marshall, Annabel Marshall, Liam White, Tanner White, Emmet White and Noah Marshall.
Visitation for Bunny will be Monday, October 16, 2023, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, 6350 South Mooresville Road, Indianapolis, Indiana 46221. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12:00 PM at the church. The entombment will be at Calvary Cemetery.
In memory of Bunny, memorials may be made to St. Ann's Catholic Church.
