She made the transition to her heavenly home on August 7th, 2023.
Visitation Hours will be held from 1-7 p.m. Friday August 18th, 2023 at Peoples Funeral Home
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday August 19th, 2023 at Greater Pearlie Grove Missionary Baptist located on 1640 W. County Line Road Jackson, MS 39213 and proceed to Garden Memorial Park located on 8001 Highway 49 North Jackson, MS 39209

Condolences to the family. Mrs. Essix was a jewel! I am so thankful Mrs. Essix played a tremendous role in my life. Growing up, I can say The Greater Pearlie Grove young ladies admired the way she walked, the way she talked and how she carried herself. I truly appreciated that. As the time passed she was no longer known to me as Mrs. Essix, but became my "Aunt B." The connection was real and more on a personal level. "Aunt B." your presence will be missed, but your legacy will live on.
