Bonnie...I never would have imagined memorializing you, my niece. I will miss you, your phone calls, your hugs, your warm sweet voice and especially how you said,"Heeey Aunteee, I love youuu!" I loved and will cherish how you made sure we knew who our kinfolk were! I´ll never forget how you acted in such a way with urgency like you were on a mission when doing so. I get it, you were carrying on the legacy of your Grandfather, Rev J.H. Phillips, Sr. His words, "When you find them, don´t let them go" and he taught us that even our 13th Cousin should be treated like a Father/Mother/Brother/ or Sister. They are Family he´d say! ! I´ll never forget your calls when you fussed at me, sounding like your daddy Clarence Sr. I swallowed it, and said, "Aww She´ll be alright!" and it was true, you came around. You showed love for family and that´s the truth.

I knew something was wrong when you did not call me back or answer my calls and texts. Then I got that dreadful call on a stormy evening as if the whole earth was lamenting over the death of someone... but I know Heaven rejoices over the transitioning of a Saint. I´m at peace knowing you aren´t suffering. With tears and a heavy heart because I´m human, I´ll always love you and miss you. Thank you for your undying love for your son/my nephew and all of us. It will be hard imagining life without you. So I choose to remember you the way you were, last time I saw you.

So, Family, let´s keep loving and cherishing one another. Love, Prayers and Peace for us all as God guides us through this journey called life. St John 3:16 says we should not let our hearts be trouble, especially when we believe in God. We´ll meet again.
