Bernice Kraker Obituary
Bernice “Bea” Kraker, age 84 of Coon Rapids, passed away unexpectedly from natural causes on Monday, August 11, 2025 at her home in Coon Rapids, Minnesota.
A private graveside service was held.
Bernice Hilger was born August 20, 1940 in Melrose, Minnesota to James “Jack” and Agnes (Kuhlman) Hilger. She graduated from Melrose High School. She was united in marriage to Roger Kraker on May 7, 1960 in St. Cloud, Minnesota. Bea worked for Cornelius until her retirement. Bea enjoyed coming back to Melrose to visit her brother, David, and many cousins. She also enjoyed an occasional trip to the casino and vacationing in Arizona.
Survivors include her brother, David Hilger of Melrose; and countless friends and relatives.
Bernice was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Kraker; and parents.
