Mrs. Bernice Kelly Tubbs was born at Wilmot, Arkansas on July 25, 1947. She passed away, surrounded by family, on August 31, 2025 at her home in Sterlington, Louisiana. Mrs. Tubbs was a retired medical office manager and a beloved and adored wife, mother, and grandmother. She is preceded in death by a daughter, Patsy Vosburg; a son, Tony Tubbs; and her parents, Charles Wesley Kelly and Mary McDaniel Kelly.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Allen Tubbs; her daughter, Sandy Johnson and her husband Rod; five grandchildren, Alisha Tubbs, Josh Vosburg, Wesley Bunch and his wife Rachel, Mason Allen and his wife Kristin, and Haven Bunch; two bonus grandchildren, Brent Johnson and Emma Johnson; two great-grandchildren, McKenna Bunch and Braxton Allen; and numerous extended family members.
Memorial services for Mrs. Tubbs will be private for the family at Memorial Park Cemetery, Bastrop, Louisiana under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Bastrop.
