Bertha Greer

Bertha Bryant Greer, loving wife of the late Elmer Dick Greer, passed away peacefully on November 28, 2024, at Highland Regional Medical Center. Born on August 11, 1934, in Jacks Creek, KY, she was the beloved daughter of the late Lawrence and Betty Bryant. Bertha is survived by her cherished family: Jerry (Debbie) Greer of Prestonsburg, KY, Larry (Karen) Greer of Pikeville, KY, Fred (Dorothy) Greer of Allen, KY, Ruth Greer Hall of Prestonsburg, KY, Tessie (William) Jarrell of Prestonsburg, KY, Betty (Robert) Shell of Prestonsburg, KY, Bessie (Ed) Carver of Printer, KY, Melessa (Wendle) Riddle of Wheelwright, KY & Violet Greer Blanton of Indiana. She was also a proud grandmother to 27 grandchildren and 44 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved sons, Delmar Greer and Kenneth Greer; two grandchildren: Elli Marita Greer and Dustin Castle. Bertha will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Visitation will begin at 6pm on Friday, November 29, 2024 at Nelson-Frazier Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky and will continue all day Saturday, November 30, 2024
Funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 1, 2024 at 11am with William Jarrell, Mike Mahan, and Bud Crum officiating.
Her final resting place will be at Boyd Cemetery in Hi Hat, KY
