On Tuesday, October 7, 2025 the world lost a bright light with the passing of Bertha Mae
Jones , a mother and grandmother. The Lord said, “ Well done my good and faithful servant.

Bertha Mae Jones (Shaw) was born on July 28, 1955 to the parentage of Fannie Mae Shaw
and Milton Shaw , Bertha attended Forney ISD and worked varies jobs for many years.
Bertha leaves behind to cherish her memories three daughters, Arvilla Husband-Giles
(Marcell) of Forney, TX, Mary R. Kirven of Irving, TX, and Celeste S. Husband of Fate, TX.
Two sons, John R. Husband Jr. of Forney, TX and John R. Jackson (Teresa) of Seagoville, TX.
Bertha has twenty grandchildren and twenty-five great grandchildren. Three sisters:
Henrietta, Valerie, and Tina. Two brothers, David and Milton. And a host of family and
friends.
