Bertrice M. Jennison

Newmarket - Bertrice M. Jennison, 96, formerly of Wadleigh Falls Road died peacefully February 27, 2025 at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in Dover.
Born August 10, 1928 in Newmarket, she was the daughter of Burleigh and Marion (Langley) Dennett. She was a 1947 graduate of Newmarket High School and lived in Barrington from 1956 to 2005 when she moved back to Newmarket.
Bert was a 50-year recipient of the Order of Eastern Star, Crescent Chapter. She was also past Grand Ruth of Grand Chapter of New Hampshire.
She was Queen Mother of the Red Hat Society and was a former member of the Newmarket Militia, and a member of the Newmarket Senior Citizens Group.
Bert was predeceased by her husband Roger D. Jennison who died in 1994 and by her brothers, Arnold Dennett, Donald Dennett, Norman Dennett, Ralph Langley and Leon Dennett.
Survivors include 2 sons, Douglas R. Jennison and his wife Merry, and Dan A. Jennison and his wife Pam all of Barrington; a daughter, Barbara Doucette and her husband Richard of Florida; 6 Grandchildren, Sheri, Derek, Victoria, Diane, Dwayne, and Kimberly; 13 Great Grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Visitation will be held at the Kent & Pelczar Funeral Home & Crematory, 77 Exeter Road (Route 108), Newmarket on Monday, March 10th from 1 - 3 p.m. Eastern Star Service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Burial will take place on Friday, April 25th at 11 a.m. in Lee Hill Cemetery, Lee.
