Bessie Baker

Bessie M. Baker, 58, of Fort Wayne, passed away on December 4, 2020, at St. Joseph Hospital. Born in Glen Allan, MS, on June 24, 1962, to Robert and Ollie (Pearson) Williams. She spent her formative years in Fort Wayne, Attending Northrop High School. Bessie was married to Jesse Baker in Fort Wayne, on July 26, 2007. She worked as a LPN & CNA most of her adult life. Most recently she worked for L.I.F.E. Inc, a group home in Fort Wayne. Bessie enjoyed music and her grandchildren. Bessie is survived by her husband, Jesse Baker; two sons, Dewesely Williams and James (Adrianne) Curry, Jr.; her mother, Ollie Windom; four brothers, Robert Williams, Kevin (Sharon) Williams; Bennie (Kathy) Williams and Bobby Williams; her sister, Emma Williams; five grandchildren, Elyjah Williams, Iziaha Brodrick, Jayden Curry, Jordan Curry and Kingston Curry. She was preceded in death by a brother, Dewesely Williams. Services will take place at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home, Huntertown Chapel, 16830 Lima Rd., Huntertown, 46748, on December 8, 2020, at 7:00 p.m. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 8, 2020, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please direct memorials to the family for her grandchildren.
