Beth Ann Gapczynski

Beth Ann Gapczynski, 53, passed away on Tuesday, September 03, 2024 in Memorial Hospital.
Beth was born on July 27, 1971 in South Bend, to Norbert and Mary (Ciesielski) Gapczynski. She is preceded in death by her mother, Mary.
Left to cherish the memory of Beth is her father, Norbert; sister, Gretchen (James) Pfeil; nieces, Madeline Pfeil, Lillian Pfeil; nephew, Matthew Pfeil; uncle, Peter (Nellie) Gapczynski; aunt, Anne Gapczynski; close cousin, Debbie Kuspa, and numerous other cousins.
Beth was a parishioner of St. Hedwig Catholic Church. She was involved in The Special Olympics, Logan Center, Camp Millhouse, Hannah & Friends. Beth loved dancing, singing, hugging (she was the best hug giver). She also loved hosting tailgates at Notre Dame with her parents and participating in parish activities. Beth had a huge heart and enjoyed being around friends and family. Helping others brought her happiness. Beth never met a stranger, everyone she met was her friend.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to everyone at Hannah and Friends, where she lived for 7 years and created many friendships she cherished. They would like to thank the staff at Dujarie House for the kindness and care provided.
Visitation for Beth Ann will be 3:00pm to 7:00pm, with a Rosary being prayed at 3:00pm, on Sunday, September 8, 2024 in St. Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S. Mayflower Rd., South Bend, IN. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am, Monday, September 9, 2024 at St. Hedwig Catholic Church, 331 S. Scott St., South Bend, IN. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Logan Community Resources, 2505 E. Jefferson Blvd., South Bend, IN 46615 in honor of Beth Ann Gapczynski.
