Daniel Gapczynski, age 82, long time resident of Clay Township, died on July 15, 2024. Beloved husband of the late Eileen. Loving father of Robert Gapczynski, June (Patrick) Wagner, Janice (Bryan Keith) Osborne, and Leo Gapczynski. Dear grandfather of Christopher Bezruczko, Ericka Worboys, Meganne Gleason, Bryan Osborne, Ashley Bezruczko, Jessicca Odziana, Wesley Howell, Zachary Osborne, and great-grandfather of 10. Brother of David (Fran) Gapczynski, Dennis (Sandy) Gapczynski, and the late Diane Geiger. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Daniel was a graduate of Center Line High School and started working at Roger Rinke Cadillac as a mechanic and later a service manager where he became the first Certified Master Mechanic. He then went on to work for GM as a mechanic for over 20 years, from where he retired. He was very handy and could fix anything. Daniel restored his car and enjoyed playing pool, travelling with his wife on motorcycle trips all over the United States. A life celebration memorial for both Daniel and Eileen will be held at The Century Club, located within The American Polish Century Club, 33204 Maple Ln Dr, Sterling Heights, MI 48312, on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at 1pm.
