Beth C. Ozbun, 72, of Fort Dodge, and formerly of Dayton Iowa, passed away on Friday, August 26, 2022, at UnityPoint Health ~ Trinity Regional Medical Center in Fort Dodge.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 31, 2022, at Carson ~ Stapp Funeral Home in Dayton. Pastor Kay. Christie will officiate. Visitation will be prior to services, starting at 12:00 p.m., at the funeral home. Burial will be at a Lawn Cemetery in Boxholm. Beth Cecile Stevens was born on September 16, 1949, in Boone, Iowa, the daughter of Clarence and Ruby (Swanson) Stevens. She graduated with the Dayton High School class of 1968, and furthered her education at Tobin Business College.
Beth worked as a Legal Aid for Attorney Dan McGrevey at McGrevey Law Office in Fort Dodge.
On December 31, 1987, Beth was united in marriage to L. Dwaine Ozbun. The couple made their home in Dayton. Dwaine passed away on November 2, 1999.
Beth belonged to the Moose Lodge in Fort Dodge. She enjoyed camping, throwing darts, and her cats.
She is preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Lori Adams, husband, L. Dwaine Ozbun, and her sister, JoAnne Angstrom.
Survivors include her brothers, Louis (Ivis) Stevens of Tucson, Arizona, and Roger Stevens (Judy Sorenson) of Dayton, Iowa, as well as several nieces and nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
