Eastford - Bette (Seddon) Danielson, 85, of Walker Drive, Eastford, passed away on Friday, October 31, 2025, surrounded by her family in the comfort of her home. She was the loving wife of Winfield Danielson. Born in North Adams, MA, she was the daughter of Mr. Edward Seddon and Josephine (Lamoureux) Seddon.

Bette attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Oral Hygiene. She later went on to complete her bachelor's degree at the University of Hartford. Bette worked as a dental hygienist while her husband finished his schooling to become an orthodontist, then at home raising their two children. She later worked as a real estate agent, also dabbled in the insurance industry and then returned to manage her husband's orthodontist office, Winfield S. Danielson Jr. DDS.

Bette had many passions throughout her life. She was an avid collector of crystals and gems, not only for their beauty but also for their spiritual and medicinal properties. She also had extensive knowledge in many areas of holistic medicine, particularly homeopathy. She loved to read, especially crime mysteries. She was also a member of the Republican Town Committee in Eastford for many years, and on the Board of Assessment & Appeals.

Bette's favorite place was home. She had a great love for the country and just being outdoors. She and her husband, Winfield, raised English Pointers and enjoyed bird hunting for many years. She had a real love for all animals, often bringing home injured wildlife, from turtles to hawks, to get them back on their feet or to a rehabilitator. Bette was a kind, generous woman. She accepted all as they were and gave her support and care wherever she was needed.

Bette is survived by her husband; son, Winfield Danielson III and his wife, Roxanne of Douglas, MA; daughter, Samantha Lynn Asikainen and her husband, Carl of Eastford, CT; and four grandchildren, Ivan Asikainen, Izetta Asikainen, Peregrine Danielson and Piper Danielson. She was predeceased by her brother, George Seddon and sister, Josephine Flanagan.
