Bette Zmuda, age 90, resident of Baldwin, WI, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on January 5, 2025.
Bette was born on May 3, 1934 to Ray and Mary Canfield. She grew up in Ladysmith, WI, and graduated from Ladysmith High School. She married Anthony Zmuda in Weyerhauser, WI, on September 5, 1953. Together they moved to Minneapolis, MN, and raised their five children there.
Bette was a gentle, kind, and very caring person. She would always put others before herself. She spent the last ten years of her life in Wisconsin with her son Steven and his wife Debbie, where she enjoyed her passion for flower gardening.
Bette was deeply loved by her family and very thankful for her blessings.
Bette is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Anthony Zmuda.
Bette is survived by her children, Steven (Debbie) Zmuda, Toni (Robert) McQuiston, Terri (John) Pinnow, Christi (Lars) Milbeck, and Scott (Sandi) Zmuda, 13 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and many other friends and relatives.
A funeral service for Bette will take place on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at 11:00 AM, with a visitation from 10-11 AM, at Siren Covenant Church in Siren, WI, with Pastor Brian Pardun officiating. A family graveside will take place at Bradford Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Steve Zmuda, Jr., Johnny Pinnow, Josh Grilz, Adam Zmuda, Donny Grilz and Tony Zmuda.
