Donna Lee Groom, age 87, a resident of Siren, WI., passed away on January 21, 2025 at Dove Healthcare Nursing Home in Spooner, WI.
Donna was born on April 8, 1937 in Racine, WI., to parents Jack and Ann (Popadic) Dehn. She was the oldest child.
After graduating from Hansche High School, Donna worked as a waitress for her parents in a family-owned Kenosha Diner, while working there Donna met and married the love of her life, Carroll "Ron" Groom on November 19, 1960 in Racine, WI. After marriage and two more children, Donna has a son, Bruce from a previous marriage. They moved to Mercer, WI., where Donna continued to waitress and also worked at Simpson Electrical Factory. She worked as a waitress the remainder of the time until she retired.
Donna was an active member at the Church of Nazarene. In Donna's free time she enjoyed singing and crocheting.
Donna is preceded in death by her loving husband, Ron; parents, Jack and Ann; and her sister, LeeAnna.
She is survived by her children, Bruce (Patricia) Moore, Randy Groom, Cheryl (Anders) Bereiter; 7 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; brother, Richard (Josephine) Tucker; along with other relatives and many friends.
Services are pending at this time. More information to follow.
