Virginia E. Dahl-Larson, age 88, a resident of Webster passed away on Monday, January 6, 2025.
Virgina was born on December 30, 1936 in Grantsburg to proud parents, Vedon and Edith Harris. She attended grade school in Wolf Creek where the Methodist Church is today. Then attended Grantsburg High School. She later worked at North States Wood Products in Falun for 11 years before making the move to Parker Hannifin where she was employed for almost 20 years.
In 1954, she married Dale Dahl and together they had 3 children. She later divorced and went on to marry Harold Larson in 1998. Together they enjoyed travel and spent many years in Mission, Texas.
Virginia was a member of the Siren United Methodist Church where she was involved in the ladies group. She enjoyed the outdoors tending to her flower gardens and taking in some fishing.
She was preceded in death by her parents Vedon and Edith Harris; siblings Leland (Jean) Harris, Sharon (Don) Lasko; sister-in-law Margaret (Calvin) Houdek; niece Cindy Lane and granddaughter Emily Branstad.
Virigina will be missed by her husband Harold, children Gail (Dennis), Kayleen (Peter), Rodney (Janet); stepchildren John (Wendy), Harold D. (Carolyn) and Jeffery (Deeann); grandchildren, great grandchildren and new great grandchildren she was waiting to meet in March, along with Harold's siblings and their spouses; other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at 11:00 AM (visitation 10-11 AM) at Siren United Methodist Church. Interment will follow at the Hertel Lakeview Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Peter Branstad, Dennis Johnson, John Larson, Sonny Larson, Adam Dahl and Brad Beigle.
