Ms. Johnson was born on February 2, 1929, the daughter of Lawrence and Mary Entrekin. She was a retired salesperson from Maas Brothers Department Store. She was a member of the Hamilton Baptist Church. She was the widow of Edwin Duncan Johnson and is also preceded in death by her son-in-law, James "Jimmy" Thomas.
She is survived by her daughter, Leslie Johnson Thomas of Columbus; grandsons, Jay (Ann) Thomas, Jack (Chastity) Thomas, Joseph (Stephanie) Thomas, and John (Lindsey) Thomas; great-grandchildren Justin, Kelsie, Joel, Zowie, Anna, Aubrie, Elizabeth, Jamie, Tristan; and great-great-grandchildren, Kaylee, Lilly, and Chase.
In accordance with her wishes, no memorial service will be held.
Donations can be made to Humane Society PAWS of Columbus or Columbus Hospice.
Cox Funeral Home - Hamilton, is assisting the family with arrangements.
