Mrs. Betty Christine Brimer Ayers, 93, of Newnan GA passed away Sunday, May 25, 2025 at her residence, surrounded by her daughter and caretakers. Born July 26, 1931 in Newnan, GA, to the late Chester Sansburn Brimer & Edna Christine Williams Brimer.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Robert Ayers, Sr, Sister, Ruby Nell Allen.
Betty grew up in Newnan, GA and attended Newnan High School. Betty, for several years, loved on many children at Gingerbread House as well as Little Loves Daycare. She was a lifetime member of Andrews Chapel United Methodist Church, in Roscoe GA. She was a woman of remarkable wisdom and a determined spirit. She lived her life speaking her mind freely and frankly, never shying away from honesty and truth. Her home was welcoming, always open to friends, family and strangers alike. No one ever left her doorstep without a good meal, a testament to her generous heart and nurturing soul. Her passion for gardening was legendary. With a green thumb that brought forth the tastiest vegetables and the most beautiful flowers, she found joy and purpose in tending to her garden, nurturing life and beauty in every corner. Above all, she was a pillar of care and love for her family. Her big heart extended beyond her family. She was always ready to care for others, especially those who were sick or in need. Her kindness and compassion left a mark on everyone fortunate enough to know her. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered for her strength, warmth, and the love she so freely gave. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of all who were touched by her life.
