Betty Caler Obituary

Betty was married to Wayne Pruden in 1956 and had her daughter, Donna Jean Ebnit and her son Michael A. Pruden in 1958. Both have spent most of their lives residing in Orange County, California.
Preceded in passing by six of seven siblings; Gaylord (Whitey), Richard, June, Donna, Virgil, and Douglas; parents Earl and Florence Caler (common-law husband Robert E. Dunithon).
Betty is survived by her beloved children Donna (Kevin) Ebnit and Michael Pruden; her sibling Helen Sechler; niece Sharon Kaye Curtis and Butch her husband who have been her caregiver for many years (Helen's daughter) and many nieces and nephews on the Caler and Pruden side; grandson Daniel Ely and his wife; two great-grandchildren Hunter Ely and Liam Ely. Betty and most of her family are from Grass Lake, Jackson, and the surrounding cities.
A graveside service to honor Betty will be held on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at Roseland Memorial Gardens (3744 Brooklyn Rd, Jackson, MI. 49203) starting at 3 pm.

Betty you were truly one of gods greatest gifts. I too will always remember the field of wild flowers. I know in heaven you are in the best of company. We will see you again when we are called home. I love you. And I will always think of you in my prayers. Goodbye Aunt Betty
